Margie A. Graif, 86, Owatonna

Margie Graif of Owatonna died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023, at Timberdale Trace in Owatonna.

Mass of Christian Burial is set for Monday, Aug. 28, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Owatonna. A private family burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca. Friends and family may greet the family starting at 9:30 a.m. on Monday at the church. A parish rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the church.

Margie was born March 24, 1937, the daughter of Raphael and Genevieve (Lang) Farley in Waseca. Margie graduated from Janesville High School in 1954.

She married Joseph Graif on Nov. 19, 1955, in Waseca. Margie worked in healthcare for 31 years as a CNA.

She enjoyed scrapbooking in her own way and made many books for her children and siblings. Margie loved to read and write short stories. Margie is survived by her children Michael (Veronica) Graif of Byron, Jean Boyd of Plymouth, Mass., James (Lynn) Graif of Elk River, Theresa (Steve) Pittman of Owatonna, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, and one brother Robert (Rosalie) Farley of Mankato.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, a grandson Tyler, two brothers and three sisters.
