Marlys Anderson, 87, Owatonna

Marlys G. Anderson died Oct. 29, 2025, with her family at her side at Birchwood Cottages in Owatonna.

A Memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at 3 p.m. at Brick-Meger Funeral Home, 1603 Austin Road, Owatonna. Friends may greet the family beginning at 1 p.m. until the time of service.

Marlys Anderson was born June 1, 1938. She graduated from Elmore High School in Elmore, Minn. She was a lifelong resident of Faribault County until 2021.

She loved playing bingo, flowers, the color pink and her family most of all. She enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn and decorating for Christmas.

Marlys is survived by her children Pamela (Sal) Dahan, Mitch (Terri) Paschke, Shari (Paschke) Luedtke; brother Larry (Sharon) Hagge; grandchildren Lewis Luedtke, Tara (Ryan) Maestas, Hallie (Aaron) Meyer, Lindsay (Jeremy) Paschke; great-grandchildren Elsie and Ethan Meyer; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lathan Hagge and Jessie Brown, husbands Ronald Paschke and Kenton Anderson, sister Dean Thomas, brother Terry Hagge, brothers-in-law Donald Paschke, Vernon Paschke, and John Thomas, sisters-in-law Emily Morrison, and Julaine Cook.
