Mary Hueman, 84, Surprise, Ariz.

Mary Clare Hueman, age 84, of Surprise, Ariz., and formerly of Blooming Prairie, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at Boswell Hospital in Sun City, Ariz.

Mary was born March 8, 1941, in Babbitt, Minn., to Hollis and Mae (Eberhardt) LaTourelle. She graduated from Ely High School in 1959.

Mary was united in marriage to Robert Hueman on May 13, 1961, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Austin, and together raised four children. The couple made their home in Lyle, Minn., before relocating to Blooming Prairie in 1992.

In 2015, they moved to Surprise, Ariz. Mary dedicated her life to being a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, and was a big fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Twins.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Hueman of Surprise, Ariz.; children, Bill (Kim) Hueman of Mound, Minn., Hollie (Ken) Worcester of East Gull Lake, Minn., and Surprise, and Mitch (Colleen) Hueman of Nerstrand; five grandchildren, Scott, Dylan, Ashley, Luke, and Caleb; four great-grandchildren, Hayden, Riley, Ashlyn, and Kaiden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollis and Mae LaTourelle; and son, Nicholas Robert Hueman.

A memorial gathering for Mary will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Worlein-Hoff Funeral Home in Blooming Prairie. Interment will follow at St. Columbanus Catholic Cemetery, Blooming Prairie. Memorials are preferred to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
