Orville Sneberger, 74, Owatonna

Orville Sneberger, 74, of Owatonna, MN, died September 21, 2023, at his home. Orville was born on July 20, 1949, to Joseph and Elsie (Nordlund) Sneberger. Orville attended many different schools throughout his childhood and graduated from high school in 1967. He served in the United States Army for 3 years and was honorably discharged.

Orville was a very smart and very kind person. Orville had two brothers, Kenneth and Donald, and there was no trouble among them. He got along well with his brothers, and they did pretty much everything together growing up. From 1956-57, their family lived at 28th Street and Pillsbury Avenue in South Minneapolis, MN. They went trick or treating together at Halloween in that neighborhood.

Orville had a home in Richfield, MN, at one time and had two homes in Brooklyn Park, MN, at different times. He eventually settled in Owatonna and built a home. Orville was an active member of Christ Community Covenant Church in Owatonna where he attended weekly service. Orville enjoyed all sports.

Orville will be remembered fondly by his brothers Kenneth and Donald with whom he shared so many activities and memories. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Elsie.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Brick-Meger Funeral Home (1603 Austin Road, Owatonna, MN) with Pastor Brent Carlson presiding. Friends may gather for a visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will follow with military honors at 1:30 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis (Assembly Lane #4).
