Patricia Hansen, 86, Austin

Patricia Ann Hansen, age 86, died April 21, 2023 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Austin.

Pat was born Oct. 1, 1936 in Owatonna to John and Amelia (Marchwick) Marsolek. She grew up in Claremont and then moved to Austin in 1942. After graduation from Pacelli Catholic School in 1954, she was united in marriage to James Hansen at Queen of Angles Catholic Church in Austin on April 3, 1965.

She became a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping and attending garage sales. She spent her spare time collecting "Precious Moments" figurines and "Beany Babies.” Her passion was spending time with Brian, her son.

She is survived by her husband Jim and her son Brian, brother Ron (Pam) Marsolek of Alexandria, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother John.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Father James Steffes officiating. Visit with the family at 9:30 a.m., one hour prior at the church. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery immediately following the funeral.

Memorials are preferred to: Blooming Prairie Serviceman's Club or St. Edwards Catholic Church in Austin.
