Paul worked several jobs from farming related to driving trucks. Some of those jobs were in and around Faribault: as a custodian at the State Hospital, driving truck hauling peas and sweetcorn for Don Krenske , and hauling vegetables for Green Giant Company of Montgomery, MN. He also worked for Nutting’s Truck and Castor Company. He also found employment he enjoyed in Owatonna as a tile hauler at Concrete Materials.

Then after retirement, he continued to work in the custodial department at Faribault Walmart another 5 plus years. Paul spent time in the U.S. Navy in 1961, receiving an honorable discharge due to injuries.

Paul later met Nancy L. Anderka and she became his beloved wife May 30, 1964. They purchased a rural home in Steele County and began a family. Paul and Nancy had four children: Bob, Carmen, Cheryl, and Jolene.

Paul had many loves in his life from raising horses, pygmy goats, and a huge variety of exotic animals. He and Nancy belonged to a Lutheran Church in Faribault, Saddle Club, Good Sam’s Camping Club, and both were active club members with their Harley Davidson motorcycles. On his days of recreation, he enjoyed fishing, traveling (south to Texas), mowing lawn, and attending Walt’s Auction. Paul was also known for his witty humor and smile, and especially his love for sweets and all cookies.

Paul is survived by children Bob Jensen (Marion Hawkins) of Blooming Prairie, Carmen Clausen (Alvin Clausen) of Owatonna, Cheryl Jensen (deceased 1971-1977), and Jolene Aase (Jeremey Anderson) of Medford/Hollandale.
