Peggy Brown, 71, Owatonna

Peggy C. Brown, aged 71, passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024 at the Mayo Hospital in Mankato.

Born April 4, 1952 in Pontiac, Mich., she spent her childhood in Lake Orion, Mich. and graduated from Lake Orion High School in 1970. She raised her family in Auburn Hills, Mich. and retired from General Motors after a 20+ year career.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, crocheting, rock collecting, gardening, bird watching, being outside with the flowers and trees. Her sweet tooth was only surpassed by her love of coffee.

She is survived by two children, Aaron (Victoria) Bartkowiak and Matthew (Lori) Bartkowiak, four grandchildren, Lila, Joshua, Jack, and Aden, and two brothers, Dr. David Brown and Mark Brown.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gordon and Donna (Marshall) Brown.

A celebration of life will be held at Brick-Meger Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Guests may greet the family from 1-2 p.m. and Dr. Brown will lead a small service at 2 p.m. Visitation will conclude at 3 p.m.
