Rachael Fisher, 41, Owatonna

Rachael Fisher passed away unexpectedly at her home in Owatonna on April 7, 2023.

Visitation was Friday, April 14, 2023, at Brick-Meger Funeral Home and one hour prior to the memorial service at the church. Memorial service was Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Urland Lutheran Church, Cannon Falls with Pastor Judy Thompson-Reitz presiding.

Rachael Beth Fisher was born April 6, 1982, in Red Wing , the daughter of Wenzel and Louise "Penny" (Anderson) Schiell. She graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 2001.

Rachael was married to Matthew Fisher on Sept. 28, 2019. She had a very caring, compassionate heart and loved helping people. She had a great sense of humor and loved animals. She spent her career in health care as a certified nursing assistant.

Rachael was preceded in death by her parents Louise "Penny" (Anderson) Schiell in 1998 and Wenzel E. Schiell in 2017.

Rachael is survived by her husband Matthew M. Fisher, of Owatonna; her children Thomas J. Brugger, of Ely, Minn., Nathan W. Brugger, of Minnesota City, Alia B. Howlader and Ethan W. Howlader, both of Owatonna; brother William Schiell, of West Concord; sisters Angela (Todd) Otto, of Belle Plaine, and Tasha (Callahan) Wilson, of San Francisco; father -in-law and mother-in-law Donald and June Fisher; sister-in-law April Fisher; nieces Jazmine and Jaceanna Schultz, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
