Robert H. Peterson, 60, Dodge Center
Robert “Bob” H. Peterson, age 60, of Dodge Center, died Saturday afternoon, Sept. 5, 2015, at his home surrounded by his familyand friends. Robert was born on Sept. 29, 1954, in Waseca, and is the son of Harvey and Florence (Krueger) Peterson. He graduated from Waseca High School in 1973. On Dec.17, 1973, he married Vicki Skinner in Waseca. Bob was an electrician for 27 years for Adair Electric in Rochester. Bob is survived by his wife, Vicki of Dodge Center; two sons,Erik (Jamie) Peterson of Waltham and Patrick (Lisa) Peterson of Pine Island; two grandchildren, William and Rachel; three sisters, Bessie (Dennis) Paulson of Waseca, Jeanie (Mark) Peterson of Owatonna and Joyce (Bryan) Nelson of St. James; two brothers, Peter (Marlys) Peterson of Lanesboro and Edward (Shannon) Peterson of Mesa, Arizona. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his nephew, David Nelson and a grandnephew, Cayden Hoffman. Bob (known as Pirate Bob) was in charge of the Zumbro Bend Rendezvous in Mantorville for the last 13 years. He and his wife, Vicki, enjoyed raising their families doing Rendezvous and continued to do so up until his passing. He was also an active participant in Wisconsin, reenacting battles from the War of 1812. Bob volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Ironwood Springs Christian Ranch and the Mantorville Theatre Co. He was a past president, treasurer and a lifetime member of the Dodge County Historical Society. Funeral service was held on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Dodge Center. Burial was held in the Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, at Czaplewski Family Funeral Home in Dodge Center and one hour prior to the service at the church. Blessed be his memory
