Ruth Ann Johnson, 71, Mantorville

Ruth Johnson, 71, of Mantorville, Minn., died of natural causes at her home on Monday, June 6, 2016.
Born January 8, 1945, in Austin, Minn., Ruth Norman married Douglas Johnson on December 2, 1967. Together they raised two daughters and forged a good life. Ruth worked for 30 years as a Health Unit Coordinator at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn. 
Ruth loved her friends and family, both natural and those she adopted, of which she had many. She loved to laugh and play games, and she was always ready with a hug.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Johnson; daughters, Sarah Johnson and Becky (Desi) Wren; granddaughter, Kaylee Wren; two sisters, Ethel (Dave) Chinander and Jean (Gary) Scrabeck, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Everett and Inez Norman of Austin, Minn.
The funeral was held June 11 at Kasson Church of Christ with Pastor Dale DePeel officiating.
