Sarah Booe, 75, Owatonna

Sarah Booe died on Dec. 15, 2023, at the age of 75.

Sarah was born Oct. 18, 1948, in Spokane, Wash. She was raised in Temple, Texas.

Sarah married Richard Booe on Nov. 15, 1969. Their union provided two children: Keith and Barbara. At the time of death, Sarah and Rich resided in Tarpon Springs, Fla. As 40-year residents of Owatonna, it is the place they called “home.”

Sarah is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rich Booe; son Keith A. Booe (Jeri); daughter Barbara L. Walsh (Mark Schultz); grandchildren: Devin Nelson (Zach), Bradey Walsh, Clare Booe, Sophie Booe, June Booe, John Booe; brother Dr. Bill Turner (Janice); nieces and nephews: Mark Patun, Laura Patun, Janet Small, Joan Busch, Cassie O’Connor, and Jackie Johansen.

She was preceded in death by parents Billy M. Turner and Lora Turner/Covington; sister Katie L. O’Connor; uncle Albert Turner; mother-in-law Barbara M. Booe/Vilda; father-in-law Malcolm A. Booe, sister-in-law Barbara A. Booe; brother-in-law Herbert R. Booe; brother-in-law Stephen “Pat” Patun; nephew Allen Booe; great niece Sadie Johansen; and great nephew John Busch.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart Church, Owatonna, at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, with a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Denim welcomed, but not required.
