Service for Jackie Ostlund set for June 9

A funeral service for Jackie Olson Ostlund, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 609 Lincoln Ave., Owatonna, with visitation to follow at 3 p.m. in the fellowship hall.

Jackie died as the result of a tragic car accident on May 28, 2024.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Ostlund of Medford; three daughters: Julee (Donny) Elstad; Polly (Monte) Shives; and Rebecca (Jim Qualley) Somers, all of Owatonna; eight grandchildren (five grandsons and three granddaughters); and three great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

Jackie was a light throughout the community of Owatonna. The family asks that memorials be directed to the donor’s favorite charity or organization in Jackie’s name.
