Thomas Trotter, 89, Oregon

Thomas E. Trotter, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, in North Bend, Oregon.

Tom was born in Bloomington, Ind., on April 9, 1934, to Lillian and Vernon Trotter.

Tom and LaVonne Trotter met and married in Indianapolis, Ind., in 1961. Over the years, the couple moved to and were employed in Juneau, Alaska, Norman, Okla., and finally Owatonna in 1972, where Tom was employed at Josten's and later at Wenger Corp.

The couple was amicably divorced in 2003, and Tom moved to North Bend, Oregon, for his retirement years. He loved the Oregon coast and enjoyed two decades in his new community.

Tom is survived by children Thomas Alan Trotter (Joni) of Jamestown, N.C., and Mark Trotter of Owatonna; grandchildren Tommy, Arianna, and Alexa; and brother, John (Pat) Trotter and nieces and nephews of Ellettsville, Ind.
