United Prairie donates to Salvation Army

United Prairie in Owatonna recently raised $880 through its Denim for Dollars program. Those funds were donated to the Salvation Army of Steele County. The Salvation Army helps those in need throughout the community with various programs, as well as a store in Owatonna.
Denim for Dollars is a company-wide program that gives back to the communities United Prairie serves through a combination of employee and company donations. Employees have the option to pay $5 on Fridays to wear denim. Four times each year, those funds are donated, along with a company-match, to deserving causes across the United Prairie footprint. The program has raised over $200,000 company-wide.
