Bernadine Pichner, 95, Owatonna

Bernadine Marie Pichner, 95, of Owatonna, died on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024, at the Owatonna Hospital.
She was born May 1, 1929, in Page, N.D., to Harvey and Gladys Milsoe. Bernadine graduated from Owatonna High School in 1947.
She was married to Sydney Klemmer, had a daughter Kay and was later widowed.
She was united in marriage to Donald Pichner on Nov. 24, 1965.
Bea was a homemaker and farmwife. She assumed milking duties and care for the purebred hogs that were housed at the home farm. She was an active member of the Aurora Lutheran Church where she participated in the Ladies Aid and assisted with Aurora Diner duties, helping with rolling pie crusts this past year, where we made over 240 pies! She supported Kay with her horses and provided day care for her dogs. Her life interests include gardening and tending to her flowers and supporting family and friends at the many 4-H animal shows. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, aunt and good friend to many.
Bernadine is survived by her daughter, Kay of Owatonna. She is also survived by nephews Doug (Jeanne) Pichner, Brian (Marla) Westfield, Brent (Deb) Westfield and nieces Debbie (Duane) Gehring, and Renee (Brendan) Reardon and many great nephews and nieces and numerous Klemmer nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by husband Sydney, second husband Donald Pichner; parents, Harvey and Gladys Milsoe, stepmother Ruth, brother Richard Milsoe, and sister Arlene Souvie.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024, at Aurora Lutheran Church with a visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Interment was in the Aurora Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Aurora Lutheran Church.
