City of Blooming Prairie ORDINANCE
CANNABIS REGULATION
On January 13, 2025, the Blooming Prairie City Council adopted an ordinance
amending Ordinance Chapter 154, of the City Code of Ordinances Chapter
154.006 entitled Cannabis Regulation. The ordinance delegates the permitting
authority and regulatory authority of cannabis establishments within the City
of Blooming Prairie City limits to Steele County pursuant to Minn. Stat.·
342.13(c), subject to local zoning restrictions.
A printed copy of the full ordinance is available for inspection during regular
business hours at the City Administrator’s Office at City Hall located at 138
Highway Ave S, Blooming Prairie, MN. and is also available on the City’s
website.
